Germani S.p.A., one of Italy's leading operators in transport and logistics services, has acquired Löblein Transport GmbH, a German specialist in intermodal transport services for waste and other materials along the corridor linking Central and Northern Europe with Italy.

Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Schillingsfürst, Bavaria, Löblein provides logistics, freight forwarding, and road-rail intermodal transport services with a focus on cross-border flows between Central and Northern Europe and Italy. The company also operates a logistics site in Sommacampagna, Verona, serving as a key hub for transalpine transport flows.

The acquisition strengthens Germani's positioning in the European logistics market, adding intermodal and cross-border capabilities that complement the group's existing expertise in the transportation of industrial waste, hazardous materials, and chemical goods. Germani is headquartered in San Zeno Naviglio, Brescia, and is led by CEO Mauro Ferrari, with Eurizon Capital SGR S.p.A. holding a majority stake through funds under management.
