Alexis Meeùs is Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Degroof Petercam Investment Banking (Belgium). He is also member of the Group Management Committee of parent company Bank Degroof Petercam. Alexis started his career as a lawyer in Belgium and in the USA and has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, first at Group Brussels Lambert and then from 1990 at Bank Degroof Petercam, where he has been in charge of complex advisory assignments such as: the strategic consolidation of Belgacom, the Walloon Region’s sale of Cockerill Sambre to Usinor, the strategic partnership between the Belgian Post, Danish Post and CVC, the sale of 70% of the shares of The Brussels Airport Company to Macquarie, the privatization of waste company Indaver.

Alexis holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Antwerp and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Solvay Business School.
