Omni Family of Services, a national human services agency and part of the 3LS Inc. family of employee-owned companies, has acquired JusticeWorks YouthCare, a leading provider of community-based social and behavioural health services for at-risk youth and their families. The transaction closed in February 2026 and financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, JusticeWorks operates across six states — Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania — employing over 600 people. The organisation delivers a broad range of research-based programmes spanning placement prevention, reunification, crisis intervention, truancy, therapy, and supervision, with a strong track record of outcomes in child welfare and juvenile justice systems of care. As a result of the acquisition, JusticeWorks employees will become employee-owners within the 3LS Inc. structure.

The transaction is highly complementary, with limited geographic overlap and aligned service offerings across child welfare and behavioural health. With the addition of JusticeWorks, Omni Family of Services expands its footprint to 10 states and grows its workforce to more than 1,200 employees. Founder Dan Heit will continue in the role of CEO Emeritus.
