A group of private investors has sold Anker Kassensysteme GmbH, a leading manufacturer of Point of Sale hardware, to Halder in a management buy-out. Anker’s existing management team participated in the transaction to become minority shareholder. Halder has been active in the German-speaking region since 1991, during which time it provided 42 medium-sized companies with equity capital for succession solutions and growth.

Anker Kassensysteme GmbH, Bielefeld, Germany

Market leader for POS hardware in the German-speaking food retail industry with over 600,000 installed cash cassettes. The Company offers a wide variety of POS hardware products including cash cassettes, cash drawers and peripheral poles as well as integrated POS solutions. With 70 employees at its Bielefeld location, Anker has generated approximately EUR 13 million in sales in the most recent fiscal year.

IMAP M&A Consultants AG initiated the transaction on behalf of the shareholders and handled it in all its phases.
