IMAP is pleased to announce the successful sale of Packeta Group ('Packeta'), a leading e-commerce logistics and out-of-home delivery leader in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, to a consortium comprising CVC Capital Partners ('CVC') and EMMA Capital, with capital support from R2G.

Founded in 2010 as Zásilkovna, Packeta has evolved into a key player in the region under the visionary leadership of entrepreneur Simona Kijonková. Boasting a comprehensive nationwide delivery network and renowned brand, Packeta serves over 49,000 retailers and offers last-mile e-commerce delivery solutions through more than 9,000 third-party pick-up and drop-off points and over 6,000 automated parcel machines. Demonstrating exceptional growth, it has achieved a compound annual growth rate of 64% since 2018, reaching €300 million in revenues in 2023 and delivering close to 110 million parcels.

CVC, a global alternative investment manager with €186 billion of assets under management, and EMMA Capital, a Czech investment management company founded by Mr. Šmejc, bring extensive expertise to further accelerate Packeta's growth trajectory.

The sale process, initiated in June 2023, attracted significant interest from both financial and strategic investors worldwide. IMAP REDBAENK – IMAP CZECHIA and CORPIN spearheaded the transaction as financial advisors, representing the majority and minority shareholders, respectively.

This acquisition marks a pivotal moment for Packeta, positioning it for continued success and expansion under the stewardship of CVC and EMMA Capital. IMAP REDBAENK is delighted to have reached such an important milestone and to have been able to provide its services to five of Packeta’s six owners.
