IMAP advised automotive injection molding specialist Linaset on sale to BR Group
IMAP is pleased to announce the successful sale of Linaset, a prominent Czech injection molding company, to the industrial holding BR Group. With a rich history spanning over 65 years, Linaset has solidified its position as a trusted supplier to the automotive and various other industries. The company specializes in the production of high-quality technical moldings, supported by an in-house tool shop that manufactures molds for processing both thermoplastics and thermosets. Linaset also offers comprehensive structural assembly operations. Notably, the company achieves an impressive annual revenue of over EUR 30 million.
BR Group, a rapidly expanding family-owned industrial conglomerate boasting an annual turnover exceeding EUR 230 million, has successfully acquired Linaset. The group operates across three key sectors: plastic and metal automotive parts production, industrial textiles, and engineering. With a workforce surpassing 3000 employees, BR Group continues to experience robust growth.
The IMAP Czechia team, under the leadership of Radek Schmied and Petr Sedlar, provided exclusive advisory services to the shareholders of Linaset throughout the entire M&A process, ensuring a seamless and successful transaction of selling 80% stake in the company.
