Jurgis is the Managing Partner of IMAP in Southeast Europe (including offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia). He is also the Chairman of IMAP, Inc.
Starting as an Engineer at Ebasco Services Incorporated, one of the largest US engineering firms specializing in power generation and infrastructure projects, he spent 15 years with the company. His last position there was as Vice President of Business Development for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
After leaving Ebasco Services Incorporated, Jurgis co-founded Projectlab Ltd, a London-based project development boutique with shareholders from Creditanstalt, Security Pacific and Japan Leasing Corp. This led to 15 years of experience identifying and developing emerging business opportunities throughout Central and Eastern Europe for U.S. and U.K. companies.
Jurgis holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the New York University, Stern School of Business, a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Columbia University, Fu School of Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
