Jan-Pieter joined IMAP Netherlands as a Partner in October 2005. He has a wealth of experience in providing support with acquisition and sales processes, mergers, MBOs and MBIs, valuations, securing capital from holding companies and private equity, succession problems in family firms and outsourcing. In the preparatory phase, he adds significant value in readying businesses for sale, reorganizations and strategy development.
In 1993 Jan Pieter joined the international audit practice at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), where he dealt with acquisitions, reorganisations and due diligence investigations. Because his greatest interest lay in acquisitions, in 1997 he began work as a Financial Analyst with Turnpoint, an acquisitions boutique with branches in Rotterdam and a number of other European cities. During that time, he gained a great deal of experience in cross-border acquisitions.
Jan-Pieter's main practice areas are M&A, Corporate Finance, Restructuring and Valuation.
Jan-Pieter holds a Business Degree in Strategic and Financial Management and Post Graduate Degree in Accountancy from the Business School, Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
