Degroof Petercam – IMAP Belgium acts as Sole Global Coordinator in Ascencio’s first bond private placement worth €25 million

Degroof Petercam - IMAP Belgium has acted as Sole Global Coordinator in the €25 million four-year bonds private placement of Ascencio.

This new financing, structured in three tranches with an average duration of four years commencing on March 9, 2022, has been issued at par and bears interest at an annual average weighted rate of 2.57%. The issue was entirely subscribed by institutional investors.

This transaction allows the company to further diversify its sources of financing, strengthening its financing structure, anticipate certain credit line maturities and secure sufficient available credit lines to contemplate new investments.
The Degroof Petercam - IMAP Belgium team, led by Antoni Slawecki, acted as Sole Global Coordinator and Bookrunner for Ascencio. This transaction confirms the bank’s position in the private placement of fixed income securities and its placement capacity with institutional investors, as well as its capacity to structure/prepare such transactions. Degroof Petercam was the only bank involved in this placement.
