IMAP closes 193 M&A deals worth over $7.0 billion
IMAP closed 193 M&A transactions valued at over $7.0 billion in 2020, down from the 7 year high of 235 deals closed in 2019.
Germani, with the acquisition of a majority stake in Trasporti Vecchi Zironi, increases its presence in the intermodal transport segment and accelerates the implementation of “Progetto Green” of Trasporti Vecchi Zironi, aimed at the environmental sustainability.
Vecchi and Zironi families, in order to fully support the partnership with Germani and to give business continuity to the company’s operations, have kept a minority stake in Trasporti Vecchi Zironi.
Germani is an Italian leader for the transport of chemicals, liquids, solids and fuel and generates a turnover of 70 million of euros.
Trasporti Vecchi Zironi which operates in the intermodal transport of food products, waste materials and other chemical products and has a turnover of 17 million of euros.
