Braathe Gruppen AS has acquired 100% of the shares of the company Itum AS, with 1 March 2019 as closing date. The acquisition is an integral part of Braathe Gruppen’s strategy for further growth and expansion in the Norwegian cloud and IT operations services market.
Both Itum and Braathe Gruppen have been providing such services to the corporate market for a long time. The service offerings of the companies both overlap and complement each other, and the acquisition will benefit the customers of both companies.
Following its acquisition of Itum, Braathe Gruppen will have more than 105 employees and an annual turnover of about NOK 275 million. Braathe Gruppen has been providing IT infrastructure, consultancy and operations services, as well as cloud computing services such as server hosting (IaaS) and ASP Desktop (SaaS), since the late 1980s, and currently has offices and modern data centres in Rygge and Oslo. The head office of the company is located in Rygge.
