IMAP Morocco advised on the sale of an 85% stake in HEM to LCI Education, based in Montreal. HEM is the number one private business management school in Morocco. The institution was founded in 1988 by Professor Abdelali Benamour, who will retain a 15% minority position and remain as President alongside the same management team.
LCI Education is an international network of higher learning institutes, including 23 campuses on 5 continents. Active for the past 6 decades, it has 3,000 employees who support more than 17,000 students each year. The network serves as a hub for shared expertise and provides a strong brand for all of its campuses.
