IMAP closes 193 M&A deals worth over $7.0 billion
IMAP closed 193 M&A transactions valued at over $7.0 billion in 2020, down from the 7 year high of 235 deals closed in 2019.
IMAP advised the shareholder of Krauth Technology in Eberdach, on the disposal of all its shares to DUTECH Holding, Singapore. This is another cross-border transaction in the industrial goods sector by the DUTECH Group as it further expands its position in the German market.
Krauth Technology develops, manufactures and sells innovative solutions for fare collection in public transport and its product portfolio includes automatic ticket machines, e-ticketing solutions, on-board computers and related software for all system levels.
With this acquisition, the publicly listed DUTECH Holding in Singapore strengthens its competence as a cash-handling solutions provider. German FORMAT Tresorbau and German Mechatronics already belong to DUTECH Holding. In China, TRISTAR Inc., a sales and security solutions provider, is part of DUTECH Holding.
The DUTECH/TRISTAR Group employs over 2,500 employees worldwide and is present in Europe, North America and Asia.
