The French jewellery company THOM Europe S.A.S acquired 100% of the shares of the German jewellery chain ORO VIVO AG, from Christian Bernard S.A.S. Following the recent acquisition of Italian jewellery company Stroili, Thom Europe expanded its international reach and presence in the European jewellery and watches market by acquiring ORO VIVO. The merger of the three jewellery chains provides a platform of affordable genuine jewellery and makes Thom Europe the leading European provider in this sector.
With the support of IMAP, ORO VIVO found a strategic investor in Thom Europe, enabling the company to join a powerful brand and to further grow under said brand. ”It’s a great opportunity for ORO VIVO to join the THOM Europe Group and participate in its European expansion.” saidGuillaume Teboul, CEO ORO VIVO AG. ORO VIVO is the third largest German jewellery chain, headquartered in Hallbergmoos. With the slogan “affordable genuine jewellery for everyone” the retail company sells its own products as well as brand products, in 38 branches across Germany. Due to its broad product portfolio and a diverse selection of brand watches and jewellery, ORO VIVO was able to achieve an excellent market position, by strategically positioning themselves in the sector of affordable but high-quality jewellery. Product highlights include high-quality watches by their own brand “Borelli,” as well as their selection of wedding rings and gold jewellery. The company employs over 200 staff.
THOM Europe is a French jewellery retail company, specializing in jewellery products. With additional acquisitions in France, Italy and Germany, the company merged the three largest flagships for affordable genuine jewellery.
