Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (Jeronimo Martins), a unit of Sociedade Francisco Manuel dos Santos BV, planned to acquire a 20% stake in Financor Distribuicao Alimentar SA, a Ponta Delgada-based supermarket operator, a unit of Financor Agro Alimentar SA, ultimately owned by Financor SGPS SA, in a privately negotiated transaction. Concurrently, Jeronimo Martins planned to acquire a 20% stake in Financor Cash&Carry SA.
