Texrep is a dedicated producer of technical textiles, including woven, braided, and knitted bands and cords, straps, and other products engineered with various properties and functions. Their offerings are designed to meet high standards across multiple applications and industries. The company's products often serve as crucial components within their customers' products or production processes.
The company boasts a broad customer base, comprising both domestic and international companies across diverse sectors such as military, healthcare, automotive, industrial manufacturing, hygiene, and food.
Headquartered in Överlida, with manufacturing facilities there as well as in Sjuntorp and Riga, Latvia, Texrep has consistently maintained a strong environmental focus and a commitment to Swedish production. As a result, over 85% of its products are currently manufactured in Sweden. Texrep has approximately 50 employees and, in 2024, had a turnover of over SEK 100 million with strong profitability.

Alvearium Invest is owned by industrialists Nicklas Margård and Pontus Cornelius, who first met early in their careers as customer and supplier. With over 50 years of combined experience in managing and developing companies across various sizes and international markets, they bring a robust industrial expertise coupled with long-term entrepreneurial vision. Alvearium Invest’s goal is to sustainably develop well-managed companies in close collaboration with their owners, guided by a clear green agenda.
Texrep is Alvearium's first investment, and together with Magnus Wahlgren and Christer Andersson, who will continue as minority shareholders, the ambition is to build a cluster of specialized companies within technical textiles.
