Ersel Barlak is a Partner at Danista Capital Partners, where he leads the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice. In addition to M&A, he advises clients on Export Credit Agency (ECA) loans, initial public offerings (IPOs), and debt advisory projects. Before joining DCP in 2018, Ersel served as the CEO and board member of a brokerage and investment banking subsidiary of a leading banking group. From 2007 to 2012, he was Head of M&A at EY Turkey, completing numerous transactions, including complex cross-border deals. Prior to EY, he worked at QNB Investments, a Qatari investment bank, where he gained broad experience across all areas of corporate finance. Ersel began his career at PwC as an auditor in 1998 and later worked as an internal auditor at BBVA for two years, building a solid foundation in finance.
