Deal Announcement - Business Services - Buchholz

IMAP Germany advises industrial laundry and textile rental company Buchholz Textilreinigung on sale to CWS Group.  

Founded in Pruem in the Eifel region in 1939 as a family business, today Buchholz has grown into a medium sized business, employing around 90 people in its laundry facility. It provides services to approximately 200 clients across 3 verticals: Healthcare, HoReCa and workwear/personal protective equipment (PPE). Its services include washing and processing, as well as textile rental. With its own fleet of vehicles, Buchholz also ensures that customers' laundry is picked up and delivered punctually and reliably. The company's geographical focus is in western Germany, between the Ruhr area in the north and Luxembourg in the south. 

CWS Group is an integrated solution provider in the health and safety field. It operates internationally and has 10,800 employees. In 2019, it generated sales of over €1.2 billion. In its Healthcare division, CWS offers care homes, senior citizen facilities and nursing services an allround laundry supply via its rental service. Through the acquisition of Buchholz, CWS expands its geographical footprint as well as its client portfolio and strengthens its sustainability strategy.
