IMAP Japan advised Surf Beverage, a growing Japanese soft drink manufacturer, on the acquisition of Marubishi Foods,a long-established OEM specializing in soft drinks and based in Japan’s Tohoku region.

This transaction will mark Surf Beverage’s first manufacturing and sales site in the Tohoku region and is expected to help strengthen and expand its customer network, thereby contributing to the company’s further growth.

Founded in 1992, Surf Beverage’s core business is the manufacturing and sales of soft drinks. Since its establishment, the company has developed private-label products for retailers as well as its own branded products for more than 30 years under the philosophy of providing natural, high-quality, and safe products in a stable manner.Going forward, the company aims to achieve further business growth by continuing to enhance its manufacturing capacity and expand its customer base.
