Direct Metals Inc. (DMI), a portfolio company of Trivest Partners, has acquired Lakeside Construction Fasteners, Inc. (LCF), a US-based family-owned distributor of construction fasteners and related building products.

Founded and headquartered in the United States, LCF is a full-service international fastener supplier offering a broad range of construction fasteners, pipe flashings, sealants, snow retention systems, and foam alternative solutions. The company combines total supply chain and project management capabilities with US-based warehousing and sourcing from the Pacific Rim and Europe, serving customers across the building envelope market.

The acquisition brings together two complementary fastener distribution businesses with limited customer overlap and distinct geographic coverage, accelerating DMI's strategy to build a leading national fastener distribution platform. LCF's President and Co-Founder Eric Velliquette will continue to lead the business alongside DMI's existing management team.
