In August 2026, UBM Feed Zrt., part of UBM Group, completed the acquisition of a 65% stake in EL.VI.Z. SA, a major player in the Greek feed market. The deal takes UBM's total annual production capacity above one million tons.

UBM Group is a leading Hungarian agricultural and feed industry group. It is building its international presence, diversifying geographically, and steadily expanding its production and sales capacity in the region and in global markets.

EL.VI.Z. operates two plants in Northern Greece, in Plathy and Xanthi, with a combined annual capacity of 250,000 tons. It has a broad product portfolio across poultry, pig and ruminant feed, and a strong position in its home market.

The acquisition strengthens UBM's international footprint and supports the modernization and efficiency of its existing manufacturing capacity. It also gives the group a foothold in Southeastern Europe, and the Greek platform will serve as a starting point into the Balkans, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.
