With retroactive effect from February 1, 2025, the charitable Siloah Foundation acquired 100% of the shares in Residenz Vivo AG in Köniz as part of its “integrated care for the elderly” strategy, thereby expanding its catchment area in Bern. All employees were taken on under unchanged employment conditions. The premises will be gently renovated in the short and medium term.

The Siloah Group is the leading integrated medical care provider in geriatric medicine in the Bern region and neighbouring areas.

The Residenz Vivo in Köniz is a comprehensive residential and care facility for the elderly, offering various forms of accommodation and services.

In future, the Köniz region will also benefit from all the other services and offerings of the Siloah Association, such as medical care, outpatient Spitex care, the meal service for private individuals, KITAs and day schools, specialist lectures on ageing issues and close cooperation with official specialist agencies, as the Siloah Association already does with the municipalities of Berne, Gümligen and Wald (Kühlewil).

To ensure that the Köniz site can be operated in a predictable manner in the long term, the Siloah Foundation has concluded a long-term lease with extension options with the buyer of the property, Impact Immobilien AG, which is active in social infrastructure construction.
