OTP Bank Plc., Hungary's largest commercial bank, has acquired 100% of Financial Expert Kft. (Finex), one of Hungary's leading independent retail credit brokers. 

Founded 20 years ago, Finex operates a nationwide network of hundreds of independent financial experts, offering brokerage services across the full retail lending spectrum including mortgages, personal loans, and state-supported home creation and family support schemes. The company has experienced strong growth in the past year, benefiting from the buoyant Hungarian housing loan market and the introduction of the Home Start Program.

The acquisition supports OTP Bank's strategic objective of creating an integrated service model combining real estate purchase, advisory, and financing within a single process. Finex will maintain its independent multiple agent status following the transaction, continuing to offer products from multiple financial service providers to its customers.
