Mufaro joined Verdant Capital in 2024 as part of the Verdant IMAP. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Rhodes University in 2017 and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.

Before joining Verdant Capital, Mufaro gained valuable experience in financial management and analysis as a General Ledger Accountant for an American company, where he worked on financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
