Deal Announcement Technology - ITS Security

IMAP advises cybersecurity experts ITS Security on sale to Ibermática. Global IT services company, Ibermática, has acquired cybersecurity services provider, ITS Security. 

Founded in 2007, ITS Security specializes in cybersecurity services and proprietary solutions for IT and OT systems. The company provides coverage throughout Spain, serving clients across many sectors, including Government, Healthcare, Energy & Utilities and Transport. It also provides services to Industry 4.0 companies and Smart Cities initiatives. 

Ibermática was established in Spain in 1973 and now provides IT services at a global level. The company has a presence in over 10 countries in Europe and the Americas. Ibermática focuses on IT consultancy, infrastructure services, information systems integration and the outsourcing and implementation of integrated business management solutions. 

With its acquisition of ITS Security, Ibermática aims to strengthen its service portfolio and become a top cybersecurity solutions provider. In 2024, its cybersecurity revenue target is €25 million. 

The IMAP Spain team, led by Elias Martinez, acted as sole financial advisor to ITS Security throughout the sale process.
