Tapiwa joined Verdant Capital as an Associate in the Investment Banking team in October 2025. He focuses on transactions in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector and brings several years of advisory and deal execution experience as an investment professional.

Before joining Verdant Capital, Tapiwa held roles at Spear Capital, Mangwana Capital, and Deloitte Advisory, gaining experience and understanding in private equity, portfolio management, investment advisory and corporate finance in markets across Southern Africa.

Tapiwa holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, both from Loughborough University.
