Mimpo Global Logistics has completed the acquisition of Iberoforwarders, a Spanish international freight forwarding and logistics company, marking Mimpo’s first inorganic transaction in Spain since entering the market in 2019.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Alicante, Iberoforwarders provides international transport solutions by sea, air and land, complemented by warehousing, distribution and customs services. The transaction strengthens Mimpo Global Logistics’ presence in Spain by expanding operational capacity and enhancing its value proposition in maritime transport, a core activity for both businesses.

Following the integration, the combined platform is expected to generate approximately €40 million in revenue in Spain by 2025 and employ more than 60 professionals. The group will benefit from complementary expertise in import and export flows between Europe, Latin America and the United States, as well as additional capabilities in bonded warehousing, road transport and specialised logistics services, including for the Canary Islands.
