IMAP advised the shareholders of RESCON Resistant-Concrete GmbH and Rescon SEAL GmbH (together "RESCON") on the entry of investors led by HBL InvestmentPartners GmbH ("HBL") and Tequity Managementgesellschaft GmbH ("Tequity"). The Managing Partners Christian Bernau, Michael Kröger and Hannes Poppenhagen will remain significantly invested and will continue to have operational responsibility as Managing Partners.

Established in 1999, RESCON works in the construction sector to solve the problem of external water ingress and the resulting waterproofing measures. In addition, the company plans and implements waterproofing measures for new buildings made of reinforced concrete components using a fresh concrete composite system. Building refurbishment is another key area of activity. Approximately 60 employees work at the sites in Berlin and Glinde (near Hamburg). RESCON is active in both residential and commercial construction for its customers, who are mainly large, supra-regional construction companies and project developers. The company also carries out projects in the field of water and waste water technology.
