Onlime GmbH has sold its global managed satellite services to the German telecommunications provider CETel (Central European Telecom Services GmbH). CETel acquires, as part of an asset deal, the customer and supplier contracts as well as some of the necessary technical equipment.

Both companies will support each other on their future international business activities. The transaction allows Onlime to concentrate on further development of its core business of community software applications and its fiber and wireless based communications solutions in Africa.

CETel GmbH, Ruppichteroth, Germany

Provider of global satellite, fiber and wireless enabled communications solutions with more than 25 antennas at the Teleport near Cologne. CETel supplies communication solutions to customers in over 50 countries worldwide.

Onlime GmbH, Aerzen, Germany

WTA (World Teleport Association) award-winning telecommunications provider. Subsidiary of the British Onlime Group Limited, a leading operator of fiber and satellite telecommunication networks. Among the customers are well-known international enterprises from the various industries such as oil & gas, mining, hotels, banking as well as NGOs.
