Swedlog is a leading Nordic provider of premium ready-to-eat fruit with a particular focus on avocado. The company combines the advanced ripening technology, Softripe, with extensive in-house expertise in ripening and quality control. The result is fruit of consistent quality, great taste and longer shelf-life, which also significantly reduces food waste for both retailers and consumers. Their customers are found within grocery retail and foodservice, primarily in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Swedlog was founded in 2007 by Magnus Åkesson in Helsingborg, Sweden, and has grown rapidly in recent years to become a key partner to the Nordic grocery trade. Today, the company has revenues of more than SEK 400 million. Swedlog has evolved from a traditional fruit and vegetable company into a technology-driven specialist in ready-to-eat fruit. To continue developing the business, the owners decided to bring in a new partner that can help Swedlog take the next step in its growth journey.

The buyer is Accent Equity, a Nordic private equity firm. Through the acquisition, Swedlog gains an owner that can support the company's expansion into new markets and additional fruit categories. At the same time, Accent Equity gains a company in their portfolio with a unique position in the Nordics and strong prospects for continued growth. The founder and management are reinvesting and will continue to drive the company's development.
