Gizem Uzuner began her career in finance during her undergraduate studies in the United States. Following the completion of her bachelor’s degree, she joined Gedik Investment Holding, where she specialized in leveraged trading. Over the years, she has served as an analyst at various financial institutions, focusing on both domestic and international money and capital markets. During this period, she also completed a Mester’s degree in Financial Economics. In 2013, Uzuner transitioned into the media industry by joining Ciner Media Group, which operates Bloomberg HT as an affiliate of Bloomberg. During her eight year tenure at Bloomberg HT, she held dual roles as within the network’s Research Department; serving both as Head of Research and on-air anchor. Following her time in media, she served as the Executive Director of Communications and Foreign Relations at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. She later joined Danista Capital Partners as Partner and became Chair of the Board at Danista Strategic Communication. With over 15 years of experience in finance, Uzuner currently continues her career as Partner responsible for Economic Research and Communications at Danista Capital Partners.
