IMAP is pleased to announce that Degroof Petercam – IMAP Belgium assisted Forum Estates on a €30 million private fundraising with Belgian institutional investors, family offices and private investors. The fundraising comprised a mandatory 50/50 combination of equity and subordinated loans.
Forum Estates is a specialized real estate investment company based in Belgium, focusing predominantly on grocery/supermarket real estate. It owns and operates a granular portfolio valued above €400 million, including principally supermarkets located in Belgium, as well as recent expansions in the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The proceeds of the fundraising will be deployed by Forum Estates to finance its growth (organic and acquisitive) in the Benelux.
