Glisco Partners and Orion Infrastructure Capital (OIC) have made a strategic investment in USFibers (Pac Tell Group, Inc.), the largest vertically integrated recycler and producer of precision polyester staple fibres in the United States. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Trenton, South Carolina, USFibers operates a unique closed-loop recycling platform that diverts post-industrial and post-consumer PET waste from landfills and converts it into high-quality polyester staple fibres for mission-critical applications across automotive, geotextile, filtration, flooring, technical textile, and home furnishing markets. The company's existing management team, led by Teddy Oh, will continue to lead the business, maintaining its culture, operational excellence, and long-standing customer relationships.
The investment supports USFibers' continued growth, including potential expansion into new markets and value-added services. Glisco Partners is a Mexico City-based private equity firm with over 20 years of investing history in North America, while OIC manages approximately $6.5 billion in assets under management and specialises in providing creative capital solutions to help middle market businesses scale and deploy sustainable infrastructure.
TM Capital, a division of Capstone Partners – IMAP USA, acted as exclusive financial advisor to USFibers on the transaction.
