Hortalizas Gourmet, a company specialised in the cultivation, processing and distribution of fresh vegetables to specialised retail chains, wholesale markets and supermarkets, has been acquired by a group of private investors, marking the beginning of a new phase of growth and development for the business.

The acquiring group is composed of entrepreneurs, executives and investors with a strong track record across multiple sectors. Following completion of the transaction, Jorge Leñero and Carlos Eugui, founders of Muro Capital Partners, will assume responsibility for the management and leadership of the company.

Founded over 40 years ago, Hortalizas Gourmet is headquartered in Mozoncillo (Segovia) and has established itself as a recognised player in the fresh produce distribution market, with a particular focus on carrots. The company serves a diversified customer base including specialised retail chains, supermarkets and wholesale markets, both domestically and internationally.
