IMAP advised the shareholders of RALF KÄCKER BAUUNTERNEHMUNG (Ralf Käcker Bauunternehmung GmbH and BVNG GmbH, together “RKBU”), specialists in overhead line and mobile communications construction, on the sale to TERRAS Spezialtiefbau (“TERRAS”), a division of the TERRAS Tiefbaugruppe, a portfolio company of AUCTUS Capital Partners. The two managing directors, Ralf Käcker and Norman Laudan, will remain in their positions and will be joined by another senior manager in the future to contribute to the growing German energy transition. In addition, Ralf Käcker will remain a minority shareholder in RKBU.

Based in Neustadt-Glewe, RKBU is a German specialist in overhead line and mobile phone construction, undertaking demanding underground, concrete and steel construction work involving masts.

TERRAS is significantly expanding its range of services in overhead line construction with the addition of RKBU, which covers everything from earthworks and bored piles to concrete and steel construction for the lower part of an electricity pylon, also known as 'the chair'. This expansion enables TERRAS to offer its clients an even broader range of services under one roof, from north to south along the entire energy transition value chain.
