Customs Support Group (CSG), Europe's leading independent provider of customs and trade solutions, has acquired Beagans Limited, a long-established customs broker headquartered in Dundalk, Ireland. The transaction marks CSG's second acquisition in Ireland, further consolidating its position across the island and strengthening its presence along the UK–Ireland trade corridor.
Founded in 1953 and now in its third generation of family ownership, Beagans brings over 70 years of experience in customs clearance and excise duty management, with deep expertise in the food and agriculture sectors and strong client relationships across Ireland and Northern Ireland. The company holds AEO certification and operates with modern customs software, providing fast and accurate declaration capabilities. Beagans has extensive experience handling exports and imports through Dublin Port, adding meaningful capacity and market knowledge to CSG's Irish operations.
The acquisition expands CSG's capabilities in deep-sea trade and excise goods, increases capacity for complex customs cases, and brings the group's combined UK and Irish workforce to approximately 250 specialists. CSG currently operates across 15 European countries with over 1,700 customs professionals serving more than 60,000 customers.
