Macquarie Asset Management has agreed to sell Fiberhost and INEA to Deutsche Telekom in a transaction valuing the businesses at approximately €1 billion enterprise value. The transaction represents one of the largest fibre infrastructure transactions in the Polish telecommunications market. The acquisition will provide Deutsche Telekom with control of a leading Polish fibre platform, combining Fiberhost's open-access FTTH network passing over 1.4 million households with INEA's retail broadband and TV business serving over 300,000 customers. Completion remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Macquarie Asset Management is a global asset manager and infrastructure investor. Through Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 5, it has supported the development of Fiberhost and INEA since acquiring the business in 2018.

Trigon (IMAP Poland), together with Nomura Greentech, acted as financial adviser to Macquarie Asset Management on the sale of Fiberhost and INEA to Deutsche Telekom.
