Spoon Brands, the food retail investment vehicle of Spoon Holding, has acquired a 45% stake in Rossopomodoro, a historic Italian brand synonymous with authentic Neapolitan pizza. The investment will finance an ambitious development plan encompassing the relaunch of the brand and the expansion of its restaurant network in Italy and internationally.

Founded in 1998, Rossopomodoro operates over 100 restaurants across more than 10 countries, serving as an ambassador of authentic Neapolitan pizza on the global stage. The brand operates across casual and fast formats, with plans to evolve its offering with a focus on modernity, innovation, and tradition.

The transaction adds another iconic Made in Italy brand to Spoon Brands' growing portfolio, which includes KFC Italy, Milos Greek Food, and Antica Focacceria San Francesco. Spoon Brands' investment model focuses on excellent Italian brands and international brands seeking to establish a presence in the Italian market, supporting their growth through a long-term strategic approach.
