Nutkao, a portfolio company of White Bridge Investments, leader in the production of hazelnut and chocolate spreadable creams marketed through the retail, gourmet and industrial channels, has acquired 100% of the capital of Antichi Sapori dell'Etna, a company leader in the production of pistachio based ingredients, semi-finished and confectionary products in the industrial, artisanal and retail channel.

Founded in 2005 by Antonino Marino and Vincenzo Longhitano in Bronte, Antichi Sapori dell’Etna is the leader in the production of pistachio based ingredients, semi-finished and confectionary products in the industrial, artisanal and retail channel.

The Company achieved an impressive historical performance leveraging on its strong specialisation in pistachio, the unique know-how in the purchase of raw materials combined with a portfolio of very high-quality products and the ability to satisfy orders in the shortest time possible even on large volumes, becoming a reliable partner for the main players in the food sector.

Over the years, the Company has consolidated its presence in the domestic market, where it serves major industrial companies as well as the main modern trade retailers and discount. The Company commercialises its products also abroad, mainly through distributors serving the artisanal channel.

In 2020 the Company generated a turnover of €55m.
