Midas International, LLC, an affiliate of Mavis Tire Express Services Corp., has acquired Max Auto Supply Company, the largest operator of Midas franchises in the United States. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1958 and headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, Max Auto operates 111 Midas franchise locations across Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, and Georgia, employing more than 650 people. The company implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 2018, building a strong culture of employee ownership and stewardship. The transaction provided a full liquidity event for employee-owners while positioning the business for continued growth within the broader Midas platform. Max Auto will continue to operate as a standalone business under its existing executive team.

Midas International is one of the world's largest providers of automotive repair and maintenance services, with approximately 2,000 franchised and licensed locations globally, operating as part of the Mavis Tire family of brands alongside Mavis Discount Tire, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers, Brakes Plus, NTB, and others.
