IMAP Spain has advised MAC Group, a Barcelona-based specialist in stand design, interior design, and experiential spaces for trade fairs, congresses, and corporate events, on its integration with IRMARFER, a company in which Adapta Capital holds a stake.

MAC Group brings differentiated capabilities in design, interior design, and the execution of complex projects, while IRMARFER contributes engineering expertise, industrial capacity, and experience in large modular infrastructures, carpentry, and graphics. Together, the combined group is positioned to offer fully integrated end-to-end solutions — from design through to delivery — to Spanish and international clients in the events and exhibitions market.

The transaction takes place against a backdrop of consolidation in the ephemeral structures sector, a fragmented but growing market driven by the rise of large-scale events, temporary logistics, and experiential consumption. The integration strengthens both companies' competitive positioning and expands their combined service offering to clients.
