IFEX Group has acquired a 70% stake in Alba Tramezzini S.p.A. from private equity firm Aksia and the Albano family. The Albano family has reinvested in the transaction, retaining a 30% ownership interest and continuing in an active management role.

Headquartered in Faggiano, Alba Tramezzini is a leading Italian producer of ready-made and packaged tramezzini, sandwiches, and snacks, distributing its products under proprietary brands and on a private label basis across both chilled and frozen segments. The company operates a highly vertically integrated business model, with in-house production of key ingredients including bread and sauces, across two production facilities totalling approximately 10,000 square metres.
