Co-founder Remco Schouten steps down as partner of IMAP Netherlands after more than twenty years

Remco founded IMAP Netherlands in 2005, together with a small team. Thanks to his entrepreneurship, vision and courage, IMAP Netherlands grew into a leading player in the Dutch M&A market, firmly anchored within the international IMAP network. In addition to realising countless transactions and building up an impressive network of relationships, Remco has played an important role in shaping the culture and values that characterise IMAP Netherlands today.

‘What started in 2005 as an ambitious idea with a small team and a big dream has now grown into an organisation with 45 professionals and a strong position within the international IMAP network,’ says Remco Schouten. ‘After more than twenty years of building IMAP with great pleasure and energy, the time has come for me to pass the baton to the next generation. I look back on a fantastic adventure and look forward to remaining connected to IMAP in my role as ambassador.’

Although Remco is handing over his duties as shareholder and partner, he will remain associated with IMAP Netherlands as an ambassador. In this role, he will continue to use his network and experience, including in commercial and strategic areas.
