IMAP advises Iparlat on sale of 12MW power cogeneration plant to CS Energy Spain
The IMAP Spain team acted as sole financial advisor to Iparlat on the sale of the powerplant.
IMAP is pleased to announce that CS Energy Spain has acquired a 12 MW cogeneration power plant from Iparlat. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Iparlat is a Spanish company that produces and commercializes milk and dairy products. The 12 MW cogeneration energy plant will continue to provide power for their Esnelat production facility. With this transaction Iparlat guarantees a long term source of efficient energy.
CS Energy Spain specializes in the investment, development and management of electric and thermal energy production operations using sustainable and renewable sources. It also develops energy efficiency applications for industrial firms. The company has energy generation plants in central and southern Spain, Portugal and the US. With this acquisition, the company begins its strategy of expansion into the industry dense northern region of Spain.
