Henning Graw is a Member of the Executive Board and a shareholder of IMAP in Germany. For over 25 years, he has been advising mid-market entrepreneurs, shareholding families, corporations and financial investors on disposals, succession solutions, acquisitions and transactions in special situations. As a Member of the Executive Board, he also drives and shapes IMAP's strategic development.
Over the course of his career, he has successfully advised on more than 100 national and international M&A transactions. He specialises in advising family-owned businesses in the German Mittelstand, as well as on complex carve-outs, distressed M&A processes and cross-border transactions. Entrepreneurs particularly value his pragmatic advisory approach, his negotiating experience and his clear eye for strategy, operational execution and commercial context.
Prior to joining IMAP, Henning founded his own M&A boutique and established the Distressed M&A business unit for Rödl & Partner in Frankfurt. Before that, he managed numerous international M&A transactions at DC Advisory (fka Close Brothers). He began his career at TMC Turnaround Management Consult, where he advised companies on strategy, restructuring and transformation projects.
Henning studied Business Administration in Dortmund and Amsterdam.
