IMAP is pleased to announce that Degroof Petercam – IMAP France advised Promeo on the acquisition of Accessite from Nexity.
Founded in 2007 and a subsidiary of Nexity since 2019, Accessite is a property manager specialized in retail real estate assets, including high street shops, retail parks, and shopping centers. The group offers a comprehensive range of advisory and management services for retail property owners, creating value throughout the entire asset life cycle—from project analysis and opening to marketing, administration, rent collection, refurbishment, extension, and disposal.
With this acquisition, Promeo—a property developer from the South of France historically focused on residential assets—continues to diversify its activities toward the retail asset class, which is Accessite’s area of expertise. Furthermore, Accessite’s nationwide presence, 120-person team, and deep understanding of the retail value chain will enable Promeo to (i) identify new project opportunities for its property development activities and (ii) expand its geographical footprint.
For Nexity, France’s leading property developer, this transaction is part of a broader strategy to divest certain subsidiaries in line with its debt reduction plan.
Through this transaction, Degroof Petercam reaffirms its expertise in the real estate sector and its ability to support French family-owned groups in executing strategic acquisitions. The Degroof Petercam – IMAP France team included Frédéric Hébrard and Matthieu Guillemin.
