Industrial conglomerate Weland has acquired 100% of the shares in leading sheet metal sub-contractor Rotage and its subsidiary, Plåtmodul.
Over the last 4 decades, the Rotage Group have established themselves as one of the leading private sub-contractors to the heavy vehicle, transportation and heavy lifting industries in Scandinavia.
Weland is a family-owned conglomerate with operations in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. The company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of grating products, staircases, railings, mezzanine and gangways. It is also one of Sweden’s largest contracting manufacturers in sheet metal, with revenues exceeding EUR 200 million.
The IMAP Sweden team, led by Jörgen Larsson, Marcus Rex and Robert Svensson, acted as sole advisor to Rotage’s founder and management. This is the 15th industrial transaction closed by IMAP Sweden since 2015.
