Exotic Automation’s management engaged Amherst to assist in the evaluation of Sidener Engineering as an acquisition target in a transaction that ultimately joined two well established, reputable leading fluid power suppliers and positioned the combined companies for fast track growth in the fluid power, hydraulic, pneumatic, safety, and automation markets. Amherst’s deep industry expertise and substantial buyside experience e allowed the team to engage in an efficient, timely review of the target’s financial and operational information and, in particular, supported the analysis of the deal economics and structure.
