IMAP advised fm Büromöbel GmbH (“fm Büromöbel”), a provider of holistic office solutions, on the sale of all of its shares to Orlando Capital (“Orlando”).
For more than 60 years, fm Büromöbel has developed, manufactured and distributed office furniture as well as holistic interior concepts for modern working environments. The product portfolio comprises workplace solutions as well as custom-made products from the Company’s own manufactory. In addition, fm Büromöbel offers a full range of services along the entire value chain, from concept consulting, planning through design and product development to transport and assembly. With around 420 employees, the Company manufactures at its sites in Bösel, Germany, and Ampflwang, Austria, in accordance with certified quality and environmental standards.
Christopher Moormann, Managing Director Production and Procurement of fm Büromöbel since 2015, says: “With Orlando, we have found a new shareholder that will support us in taking the Company to the next stage of its development.”
Dan Lühr, Managing Director Sales and Marketing of fm Büromöbel since 2015, adds: “A transaction of this size requires not only a high level of expertise but, above all, a clear understanding of the entrepreneurial interests of all parties involved. IMAP guided the entire process with great professionalism, reliability and the necessary strategic perspective. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to them for their support.”
“As an experienced investor in the furniture sector, Orlando specifically invests in market leaders in their respective niches and supports them in their long-term development. fm Büromöbel is an excellent fit for this strategy. We look forward to supporting the management team in the Company’s further organic and inorganic growth,” says Simon Pfennigsdorf of Orlando Capital.
The IMAP team, consisting of Henning Graw, Atanas Petkov, Max Victor Müller and Pauline Wohlleben, exclusively advised fm Büromöbel throughout all phases of a structured M&A process.
