IMAP advised Outdoor Life Group on the sale of its subsidiary Holz Centrum Regensburg GmbH (HCR), a sawmill specializing in garden wood, to Moma GmbH, the family office of Dr. Thomas Muhr (owner family of the Mubea Group).

HCR draws on more than 50 years of experience in wood processing, particularly in the garden and packaging wood industries. The company is headquartered in Regensburg, in the heart of one of Europe's largest pine and spruce forest regions. Its sawing, planing and impregnation capacities enable the production of high-quality sawn wood products, primarily for the garden wood segment.

The company will maintain its successful strategic direction. Andreas Reisinger, Managing Director of HCR for seven years, will continue to lead the company together with his existing team. The Muhr family and Andreas Reisinger look forward to continuing HCR's long-standing business relationships with its customers and suppliers.

While the family's entrepreneurial activities through the Mubea Group are rooted primarily in the automotive and aerospace industries, the focus of its private engagement lies in forestry and the wood industry. With Holz Centrum Regensburg GmbH, these activities are now being expanded, and HCR becomes part of a long-term-oriented group of companies.

At the same time, the new ownership structure creates additional opportunities for the company's further development. Being part of the Moma GmbH group opens up new perspectives and strengthens the foundations for future growth. The aim is to leverage HCR's existing strengths and jointly unlock further development opportunities.
